To unlock your smart padlock you need to wake it up first. Whether you are unlocking with PIN or card or app, or remote network unlock, you will need to touch any key on the numberpad first (you can enter '1', '2', '3' '4' or 'C'). Then you can go ahead and enter your PIN or hold your phone or keycard up to the numberpad. The lock will go into sleep mode after 10 seconds. The reason why we have sleep mode is because we can save battery.
