The battery status is shown on the top right hand of the LED display with 4 bars filling the inside of a battery icon meaning full strength and one bar indicating less than 20% strength. Regular notifications will be sent to the owners phone when the battery status gets below 20% reminding them to change the battery soon. See image below.
