To connect the smart padlock to the local 5G IoT network for remote unlocking (whether using an LTE-M or NB-IoT network, depending on what's available in your country), follow these steps:

1. Press any key on the number pad to wake up the padlock.
2. Press the "C2C" button to initiate a connection to the local cellular network (Connect to Cellular).
3. Wait 3-10 seconds for the padlock to establish a connection to the local network. The connection time may vary depending on your distance from the nearest mobile tower.

Once connected, the LED display on the padlock will show "M1" or "NB" along with a signal strength icon. The account administrator or owner can then use the remote unlock button in the asset management software to unlock the padlock. Refer to the video below for a demonstration.
